The
Classic Series Mailbox is constructed from aerospace grade
aluminum with solid polished brass accents. Whether you look
at the thickness of the brass, the innovative drain pipe
surrounding the flag shaft or the powerful closure magnets
on the mail door and locking access door... one conclusion
is apparent: the Classic Mailbox Collection is the best
quality money can buy.
Mailbox may be left unlocked and the magnet will hold the door closed.
This
mailbox with lockable front access door weighs a substantial
41 pounds and is crafted from sixteen separate castings.
Each mailbox is hand assembled and electrostatically powder
coated with over two pounds of paint. It is completed
with the addition of six hand fitted and hand polished
solid brass pieces including a solid brass flag. Polished
brass accents come standard at no additional charge. Antique
Bronze or Satin Nickel can be ordered below.
Elegant and
timeless, it is a beautiful addition to any home. Ships in two boxes with very minor assembly required. Just bolt the box on the pedestal,
the pedestal to the sidewalk (or a pad) and you are ready
to go! Dimensions: 50 1/4" tall x 15" wide x 10" deep.
PLEASE NOTE: The Classic Curbside Mailbox is not intended as a curbside mailbox where letter carrier delivers mail from a vehicle. You should ask your mail carrier if this mailbox will be acceptable to them before ordering.
The standard mail slot (2 7/8" tall x 10 1/8"
wide) is large enough to accommodate small packages and
bundles of mail. Bottom retrieval door is 4" tall x
10 1/8" wide.

The
high security option restricts an unwanted
hand from entering the box. This option must be
ordered from the manufacturer when purchasing the mailbox.
It may be removed at a later time if desired. With security
option, opening is only 1 1/4" tall x 10 1/8" wide.
The
Classic Address Plaque is easy to install
and can be added to any Classic Mailbox. Comes complete
with personalized gold or bronze vinyl numbers already installed
on the plaque.
Antique
Bronze or Satin Nickel Accents
These mailboxes are accented with six solid brass pieces,
which are hand finished with a weathered antique
bronze or satin nickel finish. These brass pieces will not
tarnish over time, instead they will continue to weather
into a beautiful natural patina. The
antique bronze and satin nickel accents are available with
all colors and are excellent for coastal communities or
where road salt is used.
